The slow posts continue...

Apple released a Java update and Safari 1.2 today, suggesting that Mac OS X 10.3.3 (which was seeded with Safari 1.2 last week) should be on its way in the near future.

Meanwhile, as MacMinute reports, the Pepsi/iTunes ad met a lukewarm response with USA Today's annual viewer rating of the Superbowl ads (in my opinion, this year's ads were disappointing, just sex drugs, beer, Pepsi, and cars).

Rumors are also circulating (Mac Rumors) about a possible digital music alliance between Apple and Microsoft, which could suggest possible AAC/WMA support in the future.

And, speaking of music, Apple had a somewhat sudden 10 percent off iPod sale over the weekend. The deal didn't apply to the iPod mini.
